This Shipping Policy outlines how orders are processed, shipped, and delivered when you purchase from Pitmaster Society.
Pitmaster Society is operated by USA Grills Direct LLC, a Wyoming limited liability company, and we are committed to providing clear and accurate shipping information.
ORDER PROCESSING
Orders are processed Monday through Friday, excluding public holidays.
Order Cutoff Time
Orders placed before 2:00 PM Eastern Time (ET) may begin processing the same business day.
Orders placed after this time will begin processing on the next business day.
Handling Time
Orders typically require 1–3 business days for processing before shipment.
Once your order has shipped, you will receive a confirmation email with tracking information.
SHIPPING LOCATIONS
We currently ship within the contiguous 48 United States.
We do not currently ship to Alaska, Hawaii, Puerto Rico, or international destinations.
SHIPPING METHODS
We use a combination of parcel carriers and freight carriers depending on the size and weight of the item.
Small Parcel Shipments
Carriers: UPS, FedEx, or similar carriers
Delivery Time: 2–7 business days after dispatch
Delivery Days: Monday – Friday
Freight Shipments (Large Items)
Large items such as grills, kamado grills, fire pits, and outdoor kitchen components may ship via LTL (Less-Than-Truckload) freight carriers.
Delivery Time: 5–10 business days after dispatch
Delivery Days: Monday – Friday
Delivery Method: Curbside delivery
FREIGHT DELIVERY (IMPORTANT)
Freight deliveries are made to the curbside of your address.
This means:
- The driver will deliver the item to the nearest accessible point at your location
- The driver is not responsible for bringing the item inside or assembling it
Customer Responsibilities
- Ensure someone is available to receive the delivery
- Inspect the package before signing the delivery receipt
If visible damage is present:
- Note “Damaged” clearly on the delivery receipt
- Take clear photos of the damage and packaging
Do not refuse delivery unless the item is completely destroyed. Refused deliveries without prior authorization may incur return freight charges.
A delivery appointment may be scheduled by the carrier prior to delivery.
DAMAGED OR LOST SHIPMENTS
If your item arrives damaged:
- Contact us within 48 hours of delivery
- Provide:
- Photos of the product and packaging
- Delivery receipt (if applicable)
Failure to report damage within this timeframe may affect your ability to file a claim.
If your order is lost in transit, please contact us and we will work with the carrier to investigate and resolve the issue.
If tracking shows no movement for more than 5 business days, or your estimated delivery window has passed, please contact us and we will assist in investigating the shipment.
SHIPPING COSTS
Shipping costs are calculated based on the size, weight, and delivery location of your order.
Free shipping is available on qualifying orders within the contiguous 48 United States unless otherwise stated on the product page.
Shipping availability and delivery options will be displayed on product pages and during checkout.
DELIVERY TIME DISCLAIMER
All delivery timeframes are estimates and may vary due to factors outside our control, including carrier delays, weather conditions, supply chain disruptions, or carrier scheduling limitations.
